Wipe with a soft: dry cloth, going with the grain; for spills, use a barely damp cloth and dry right away. Use coasters and keep hot cups off the bare top. Solid wood reacts to its environment, so keep the room's humidity steady and the table out of direct sun and away from heat vents, both of which dry the wood over time.
