Solid acacia, headboard included, standing 43 inches at the head. The slats are built into the frame, so there is no box spring to buy and nothing to hide underneath, and the whole thing is rated to 551 pounds. Steel-brushed like the rest of Homestead, so the grain carries across the headboard rather than flattening out. Available in Queen and King, in Light Driftwood or Warm Pecan.

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth, going with the grain; for spills, use a barely damp cloth and dry right away. Re-check the frame bolts after the first few weeks and once a season after that, since a bed loosens with use. Solid wood reacts to its environment, so keep the room's humidity steady and the frame out of direct sun and away from heat vents.
