Crafted with Intention

Designed for Everyday Living

Five drawers stacked tall rather than spread wide, so the Homestead Chest holds a wardrobe's worth of folded clothes in under 40 inches of wall. Solid acacia with an MDF acacia veneer, steel-brushed so the grain shows through the finish. Choose Light Driftwood or Warm Pecan.

The Details

Product Details

Overall: 39.4"W × 17.7"D × 41.3"H

Weight: 150 lbs

Drawers: 5

Top, doors, drawer fronts & legs: Solid acacia

Back, side panels & drawer bottoms: MDF with acacia veneer

Drawers: 5, with felt-lined top drawers and European hinges

Finish: Steel-brushed, in Lightwood or Warm Pecan

Construction: Assembly required

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth, going with the grain; for spills, use a barely damp cloth and dry right away, don't let water pool, since moisture can work into a veneer seam or swell the MDF core. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from heat vents, which dry the finish over time. Tall storage should be anchored to the wall.

Easy to put together at home. The step by step sheet is on its way and will appear here shortly. Need it sooner, email service@aykah.ca and we will send it over.

A dry or slightly damp cloth for regular dusting is all you need. If something spills, just wipe it up promptly to keep the surface looking its best. No special cleaners or spot treatments required.

Same drawers, different shape. The Chest is tall and narrow at 39.4 inches wide and 41.3 high with five drawers. The Dresser is low and wide at 61 inches with six. The Chest suits a room short on floor space.

The top drawers are felt-lined, so watches, jewellery and anything that scratches have a softer place to sit. All drawers run on European hinges.
