The Zir is a linen upholstered lift-up bed in two colourways: Vanilla Bean, a warm cream, and Truffle Grey, a mid-tone grey. The base opens to 8.5 inches of storage underneath. The headboard sits at 40 inches tall on an engineered wood and metal frame. Three sizes: Double, Queen, and King. No box spring needed.

Slats: Solid poplar wood. Platform-style construction; no box spring required

Vacuum the headboard regularly with an upholstery attachment. Blot spills with a clean dry cloth, don't rub. For marks, use a mild dish soap and water solution and test on a hidden spot first. Keep out of direct sun to prevent fading over time.

For everyday upkeep, a quick pass with your vacuum's fabric attachment keeps dust from settling in. For spills and spots, mix a little dish soap into warm water and gently blot the area with a soft microfiber cloth, no scrubbing needed.

We recommend a 10-inch mattress for all of our lift-up storage beds. It's the most compatible thickness for the frame and keeps the lift mechanism working smoothly. If your mattress is thicker than 10 inches, feel free to contact us to confirm compatibility.

The slats are spaced 2.5 inches apart, close enough to properly support foam and hybrid mattresses and well within what most mattress warranties require.
