The Lunel has a rounded headboard in a bouclé style that is fully upholstered, no headboard gap in between. The lift-up base opens to 8 inches of storage underneath, enough for extra bedding and seasonal items. Three finishes: Cream, Toffee, and Roasted Cacao. Cream and Toffee are bouclé; Roasted Cacao is chenille polyester. No box spring needed.

Vacuum weekly with a brush attachment. For bouclé (Cream and Toffee), keep the loops lifted and use a fabric shaver or sticky roller to remove lint and pet hair between cleanings. For chenille (Roasted Cacao), vacuum in the direction of the pile to avoid crushing it, a light brush with a soft cloth restores the texture between cleanings. For spills on all three finishes, blot immediately with a clean white cloth, working inward from the edges, don't scrub. For marks, use a mild dish soap and water solution and test on a hidden spot first. Like all upholstered furniture, prolonged direct sun exposure will gradually soften the colour, rotate light exposure in the room where possible.

For everyday upkeep, a quick pass with your vacuum's fabric attachment keeps dust from settling in. For spills and spots, mix a little dish soap into warm water and gently blot the area with a soft microfiber cloth, no scrubbing needed.
We recommend a 10-inch mattress for all of our lift-up storage beds. It's the most compatible thickness for the frame and keeps the lift mechanism working smoothly. If your mattress is thicker than 10 inches, feel free to contact us to confirm compatibility.
The slats are spaced 2.5 inches apart, close enough to properly support foam and hybrid mattresses and well within what most mattress warranties require.
