Construction: Assembly required

Wipe the top with a soft, dry cloth, going with the grain. For spills, use a damp cloth and dry right away, wood doesn't like sitting moisture. Use coasters and trivets; set hot pans on a pad rather than the bare surface. Keep the table out of direct sun and away from heat vents, both of which dry the finish over time.

A dry or slightly damp cloth for regular dusting is all you need. If something spills, just wipe it up promptly to keep the surface looking its best. No special cleaners or spot treatments required.

It sits on two fluted pedestal legs positioned inward from the ends rather than four legs at the corners, so the middle of the table is completely open. The pedestals themselves are fairly substantial, so seating right at the very ends is where you'd notice them most, but anyone seated along the sides has clear space.
