I love how these stools look, they feel
Solid stools and they suit the look of our kitchen, but I’m only giving 3 stars because I feel like the description was inaccurate, we were not prepared for how difficult they were to assemble! The directions were diagrams only, no words, and very complicated. It took FOUR of us almost an hour to assemble two stools!
Also the description says “birch” but the legs are not wood. They are metal painted to look like wood.

Some of the holes for the bolts weren't drilled in the right spots, although it doesn't affect the structural integrity. The four legs also aren't that level although when sitting on them they're still fine.

The stools are beautiful and seem quite sturdy. The legs are painted metal rather than wood but they look very nice and you would think it was wood unless you touched it. Very happy with these!

I was going for a bit of a Nordic theme in my new apartment and these could be styled that way. Decided to take a chance and I honestly love them. They have such a minimalistic look and they're super easy to wipe which is always a plus with young kids. My 5 year old even decided to draw on them with a crayon and (thank GOD) the "art" came off with a quick wipe with a magic eraser.

We are happy with this purchase. The colours match well in our space, the stools are solid enough when sat upon, the plastic seat is reasonably comfortable given it is not padded etc. Note that the legs are painted steel, not formed plywood.
